Käthe Kruse

Käthe Kruse is a German brand that makes some really cute and colorful toys. They've been in business for over 100 years. Miss A has the striped camel and a matching kitty cat rattle. The colors are so vibrant, and the quality is excellent. I have washed that rattle so many times, and it still looks brand new. I think these little gnome stacking cups and brightly colored forrest animals are equally adorable.

A Small Review: Sophie the Giraffe

I'll be honest. When we received Vulli's Sophie the Giraffe teether toy as a gift, I didn't really get the hype. It's basically just a piece of rubber that squeaks, like a glorified French dog toy. Newborns aren't really into toys anyway, so for awhile it just sat on the shelf.

When Miss A was about 3 months and started getting more coordinated, Sophie became a huge hit. At 6 months, it's probably still her favorite toy. All babies have different preferences, but I can tell you that ours LOVES this thing.

The legs are easy for her to hold and nom. She seems to really enjoy the squeakiness. I would advise anyone with dogs to keep a close eye on it though. I have caught my boxer staring longingly in Sophie's direction many times.

Trends Made Tiny: Neon

First Things First

Hello!

Welcome to Pretty + Small.

My name is Megan. I am the president, CEO, and captain of this little blogventure. I became a mama to Miss A in August 2012. It's been amazing so far. I haven't met all the babies in the world, but I'm still pretty sure she's the awesomest.

Since becoming a parent, I've really become interested in the world of kid's style and design. Two of my favorite things are babies and shopping, so I decided to write a blog about both. I have other interests, but they don't combine as well. No one wants to read a blog about puppies drinking wine.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you'll stick around as I share some of the cool things I've discovered.

Yours Truly,

Megan
